Porch Awnings
Porch awnings simply attach to the caravan or motorhome awning rail that runs along the top edge of the caravan.
This caravan or motorhome awning rail is is a set height, so make sure the awning you buy will fit correctly to it. The measurements are taken from the length and the height of the awning. All manufacturers now use centimetres! Newer caravans will have a user manual that should tell you the awning rail height, which makes things a lot easier.
If you buy a pre owned awning then you can always visit the manufacturer’s web site, some have older instruction manuals available to download for free. Alternatively you could also search ebay.
